Soil Water Content L band
Description
Satellite-observed volumetric soil water content (SWC) derived from L band microwave data in combination with other bands. It is based on patented high resolution technology and provides soil water content of the top 5 cm of the soil, depending on moisture conditions. L band data is retrieved from the SMAP satellite.

Description

It is based on patented high resolution technology and provides soil water content of the top 2 cm of the soil, depending on moisture conditions. C band soil water content is derived from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR-2) on board the GCOM-W1 satellite as well as the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer - EOS (AMSR-E) on board the AQUA satellite.
